A parenting order sets out when a person has the role of providing day to day care for, or may have contact with the child.
Without notice application
If a child is at risk of serious harm or undue hardship, you can make an urgent application to the Family Court for a Parenting Order.
On notice application
An application can be made to the Family Court to resolve a dispute on care and contact arrangements.

The Family Violence act provides protection to people in family relationships, who have experienced family harm.
